Automobiles in German Town Found Smeared with Swastikas in Blood, Police State

Incident location Affected vehicle Area Police
Officers reported they were notified by a resident who found a vehicle in Hanau smeared with red-colored substance

Roughly fifty cars have been covered with what appears to be human blood in the Germany's town of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, police confirm law enforcement.

Cars, walls and mailboxes were vandalized, occasionally with Nazi symbols, they announced in a statement.

Officers state they were notified late on Wednesday evening, when a resident discovered that a automobile in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been covered with a red-colored fluid.

The fluid had been drawn in the shape of a banned symbol, they stated.

Law enforcement then discovered multiple other vandalized automobiles and building exteriors in the surrounding area.

Nazi symbols are illegal in Germany under laws prohibiting the public exhibition of symbols from the Nazi era.

Officials state preliminary tests indicate the liquid was likely human blood.

"There is still no lead as to where it came from; authorities are currently not cognizant of any injuries in relation with the incident," they commented.

Local authorities stated they were trying "to solve the case" and have appealed to the community for information.

A senior political figure stated the incident left him without words and required to be solved quickly.

"This event affects the very heart of Hanau and reopens the wounds of the right-wing attack half a decade ago," he stated on online, recalling the killing of nine individuals by a shooter focusing on residents of foreign heritage in five years prior.
